Hello, my name is Renida Estrada. I am originally from Port Isabel, Texas down in the Rio Grande Valley. I am married and have 3 children. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Brownsville and my Master’s degree from Lamar University. My ambition is to create a school culture of inclusion and success with students who can apply knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, achieve personal goals, manage emotions, show empathy for others, make responsible decisions and establish and maintain supportive relationships.

Counselor for 8th grade

Hello, my name is Tierika Kinsey. I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook Em’!) and my Masters from University of Houston Victoria. My goal is to help students navigate through the ever changing challenges that may face on a given day. I will assist in creating a safe and responsive environment by promoting growth, self-awareness, appreciation of diversity, and a love of learning among students.

Andrea Rojas

Andrea Rojas, MS

Mental Health Support Counselor

Hi everyone, my name is Andrea Rojas. I graduated from Texas A&M (Whoop!) with my undergraduate degree in Psychology and received my Masters from Southern New Hampshire University with my degree in Clinical Mental Health Psychology. My purpose is to assist the students on campus with Mental Health concerns they may have. These could include anxiety, depression, stress, or grief, just to name a few. My aim is to ensure that our students have improved mental health outcomes to achieve academic excellence and overall wellness.
